IP Geolocation & Privacy Checker
Find the country and network of any IP address, view your browser info, and test whether WebRTC leaks your IP.
Your Connection Info
One public IPv4 or IPv6 address. Private, loopback and other reserved addresses have no country.
WebRTC Leak Check
Checks which addresses your browser reveals through WebRTC. If WebRTC shows a public address that differs from the one this site sees, a page could learn your real address even behind a VPN.
The check asks a public STUN server (Cloudflare, stun.cloudflare.com) which address it sees, straight from your browser, so Cloudflare receives your IP address. It runs only when you click.
About IP Geolocation & Privacy
What is IP Geolocation?
IP geolocation maps an IP address to a place using databases built from regional internet registry data, network operators and measurements. It is an estimate: country is usually right, city and region are often wrong, and a VPN, proxy or mobile network can place you elsewhere. This tool shows the country and network only.
VPN & Proxy Detection
A VPN encrypts your traffic and sends it through a server elsewhere, so sites see the server’s address instead of yours; a proxy also stands in between. Sites that try to detect them check whether the address belongs to a hosting or cloud network, compare the browser time zone with the address’s country, and use lists of known VPN and proxy addresses.
WebRTC Leaks
WebRTC (used for browser calls) asks a STUN server which public address it sees. If that request goes around the VPN, it shows your real address. Current browsers usually hide local network addresses behind random names ending in .local; the check reports those as hidden. To prevent a leak, use a VPN client that blocks traffic outside the tunnel, or limit WebRTC in the browser settings or with an extension.
DNS Leaks
A DNS leak occurs when your DNS requests bypass the VPN tunnel and go to your ISP's DNS servers, revealing your browsing activity. This tool does not test DNS leaks; the WebRTC check and the network owner (ASN) of your IP are the indicators it gives. For a full DNS leak test, use a dedicated DNS leak testing service.
